Hello from Boston! Dr. Anton Titov, MD. We're with Dr. Tsuyoshi Kaneko, MD. He is Professor of Surgery at Harvard Medical School and cardiac surgeon at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston. Dr. Kaneko obtained his MD from Keio University School of Medicine in Japan. Dr. Tsuyoshi Kaneko, MD, completed several residences in surgery at Keio University Hospital in Tokyo and at University of Texas in Houston. Dr. Kaneko then did a fellowship in cardiothoracic surgery and endovascular cardiac surgery at Brigham and Women's Hospital. Dr. Tsuyoshi Kaneko, MD specialized in cardiac surgery and aortic surgery at Duke University Hospital. Dr. Kaneko's clinical interests are in aortic aneurysms, surgery of aortic arch, ascending aorta and aortic root. Dr. Tsuyoshi Kaneko, MD, also specializes in surgery for connective tissue disease, for example, for Marfan syndrome. He is also interested in transcatheter and open heart surgery of mitral valve and aortic valve, and in surgery for thromboembolism of pulmonary artery. Dr. Tsuyoshi Kaneko, MD, is a member of The Society of Thoracic Surgeons, the American Association for Thoracic Surgery, the Southern Thoracic Surgical Association, the American College of Cardiology, and the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Kaneko co-authored over 70 papers in international peer-reviewed medical journals and spoke on many topics of cardiothoracic surgery and clinical outcomes in heart surgery at international medical and surgical meetings.
