Dr. Anton Titov, MD: Professor Munshi, is there anything else in your personal interest, your philosophy, and your life experience that you'd like to share with our viewers?
I think the message is of hope. I think there are so many incredible things happening in this world. We're living in a time where there are a lot of negatives: we have COVID, we have a pandemic, we have war, we have disagreements.
Dr. Nikhil Munshi, MD: But within those, for multiple myeloma and in general, there is great hope. The treatments—there are always options that one can go to, and one can always find solutions to the problem.
So be hopeful, be positive. I think that is so critically important, and live your life.
I think the message for everybody would be—an ending message would be—live your life. Don't get so immersed in the nitty-gritty of the treatment that you lose the bigger picture of living your life.
Let your doctors and healthcare professionals do the thinking and worrying for you. You need to be normal and live your life.
Dr. Anton Titov, MD: Professor Munshi, thank you very much for this thorough conversation about a very complex disease, multiple myeloma. We certainly hope that we'll be able to come back to you in the future for more breakthroughs. And thank you for your leadership in hematology oncology.
